VitaVallis

We provide comprehensive care to our patients

I had a diabetic foot and tried several types of medications in the past but they didn’t treat my wound. When I started using the VitaVallis dressing, my foot healed within 10 days!

What is VitaVallis?

VitaVallis is an noninvasive antimicrobial sorption sterile dressing, intended for the topical treatment of wounds of various etiologies including burns, non-healing wounds, septic wounds, surgical wounds and skin lesions (small household injuries, abrasions, cuts and minor cosmetic skin lesions).

VitaVallis dressing contains no antibiotics and pharmaceuticals. It can be used in clinics and polyclinics, field conditions and home environment.

Technical Specifications

The dressing combines a noninvasive base with knitted mesh fabric, alumna hydrate, a sorption layer of antimicrobial fabric impregnated with colloidal silver and a protective base of nonwoven fabric with a sticky adhesive layer. A siliconised release paper protects the sticky adhesive layer.

Principle of Operation

VitaVallis materials contain active centers with positive surface charge which effectively absorb negatively charged microorganisms and decayed tissues and increase the proliferation and migration of cells by effecting plasma membrane of cells

What does silver technology mean in dressings?

High absorbency dressings applied to the wound exudate form microfibrillar cellulose acetate substrate. Dressings with antimicrobial properties have alumina hydrate, which has the ability to absorb and retain bacteria and wound decay elements, on their surface, preventing their penetration into the wound. The colloidal particles of metallic silver firmly connect with the particles of alumina hydrate hence preventing the proliferation of bacteria absorbed. The dressing is steam and breathable, and creates optimum temperature and humidity conditions in the wound.

Therapeutic Category: Burn Treatment
Types:
  • Thermal injuries
  • Granulating burn wounds
  • 1st degree burns
  • 2nd and 3rd degree burns at all stages of the wound process until complete wound repair
  • 4th degree burns until the formation of granulations, and for their preparation for skin grafting
  • Burn wounds after necrosectomy
  • For skin graft protection from secondary infection, for the stimulation of skin cell growth and epithelisation of grafted wounds
Action:
  • The dressing has a wound healing action, protects wound from infection and has high absorbency. Exerts no toxic effect on the wound and surrounding tissues, provides continuous wound cleansing, promotes regeneration, and inhibits cicatrisation. Has a pronounced hemostatic effect. Drapes well, can be removed with no pain and residue. Causes no sensitization and allergy in long-term administration
  • The dressing has a pronounced local non-specific antiseptic action. Especially recommended for patients intolerant to antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents
  • Reduces the sensation of pain, promotes healing and epithelisation
  • Inhibits gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including antibiotic resistant strains) and viruses
Therapeutic Category: Chronic Wound Treatment
Types:
  • Wounds with slow healing tendency
  • Trophic and diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers
  • Wounds with high or moderate exudation
  • Leg Ulcer
Action:
  • The dressing has a wound healing action and high absorbency. Exerts no toxic effect on the wound and surrounding tissues, provides continuous wound cleansing, promotes regeneration, and inhibits cicatrization. Drapes well, can be removed with no pain and residue. Causes no sensitization and allergy in long-term administration
  • The dressing has a pronounced local non-specific antiseptic action. Especially recommended for patients intolerant to antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents
  • Effectively cleanses the wound, reduces the sensation of pain, eliminates itching and wound odor, promotes healing and epithelisation
  • Inhibits gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including antibiotic resistant strains) and viruses
Therapeutic Category: Septic Wound Treatment
Types:
  • Acute and chronic necrosis of the skin and soft tissues
  • Septic wounds after abscess and phlegmon drainage
  • Infected wounds
  • For the preparation of septic wounds for plastic operation
Action:
  • The dressing effectively cleanses wounds. Inhibits gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including antibiotic resistant strains), and viruses; has high absorbency, exerts no toxic effect on the wound and surrounding tissues, promotes regeneration and healing, and inhibits cicatrisation. Drapes well, can be removed with no pain and residue. Causes no sensitization and allergy in long-term administration
  • The dressing has a pronounced local non-specific antiseptic action. Especially recommended for patients intolerant to antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents
  • Reduces the sensation of pain, eliminates itching and wound odor, promotes healing and epithelisation
Therapeutic Category: Post Operative Wounds
Types:
  • The dressing is intended for wound care after surgery, for the treatment of infected wounds or wounds with a high risk of infection.
